What Personal Information does DashLocker gather?
To receive and process orders, DashLocker must gather personal information about our customers. Here are types of information we gather:
- Information you give us: We receive and store information you enter in your DashLocker account or give us in another way. You can choose not to provide selected information, but then you might not be able to fully use our services. We use the information you provide for such purposes as responding to your request, processing orders, completing and returning orders to lockers, improving our processes and communicating with you.
- Automatic information: We receive and store certain types of information when you interact with DashLocker. For example, like many websites, we use “cookies,” and we obtain certain types of information when your web browser accesses DashLocker.com.
- Mobile: When you download the DashLocker app, we may receive information about your location and your mobile device, including a unique identifier for your device. We may use this information to provide you with location-based services, such as pickup locations. Most mobile devices allow you to turn off location services.
- E-mail communications: We will use your information to send personalized e-mail communications regarding your orders. We will also send occasional marketing updates and promotions. If you do not want to receive marketing e-mail communications from us, please adjust your account settings accordingly.
How does DashLocker use the information it receives?
DashLocker takes precautions to protect and safeguard your information. We do not sell your information to others. We share customer information as necessary only as described below.
Third Party Service Providers: DashLocker may employ other companies to provide services or perform functions on our behalf. For example, DashLocker uses Authorize.net to process credit card transactions. Authorize.net has multiple security precautions in place, and protects your information as described in their Terms.
How secure is information about me?
DashLocker works to protect your security by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts the information you input.
When taking and confirming orders, we reveal only the last four (4) digits of your credit card number. We do, of course, transmit the entire credit card number when processing your order. In your account, only the last four (4) digits of your stored credit card are displayed.
Are children allowed to use DashLocker.com?
No. DashLocker does not allow purchases or orders submitted by children. DashLocker customers must be 18 years of age or older. Those under the age of 18 must use DashLocker under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
